The Civil Rights Acts of 1964 was put into law in order to end discrimination based on sex, race, religion and so forth. It would also end the segregation in schools and inequality in the voting application process. As a result of The Civil Rights Act of 1964, other laws that would benefit many Americans would be passed.
An example of such, is The Voting Rights Act of 1965. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 meant that any discriminating practices regarding voting, such as literacy tests, were prohibited. Additionally, The Fair Housing Act of 1968 would be structured into American law as well. The Housing Act of 1968 would banned all discriminating behaviors in the realms of sales, renting, and financing of property.
