On September 26^th, 1973, the Rehabilitation Act was installed as a federal law and replacement for the Vocational Rehab Act of 1973.

The Rehabilitation Act of 1972 would allow grants to states for vocational rehabilitation services with a great focus on services for those with severe disabilities.
